How to Plan your own DIY Mario Bros Party

How to Plan your own DIY Mario Bros Party

Here is how I made my own DIY Mario Bros Party. A lot of work went into this DIY Mario Bros Party for all my Super Mario Fans. I wanted something fun and colorful, which I think I have captured really well.

This post will be an overall summary of what went into designing and making the party come to life. If you have questions or want me to go into more detail on specifics, let me know in the comments and I would be happy to make a blog all about it. There will be another post showing where I got everything for the party so you can find it too.

Decorations

Backdrop

My background has been one of the easiest to create. I used a light blue table cloth from Dollar Tree, added a bit of texture with light blue tulle. I created coin banners using this coin printable (located at the bottle of the article), yellow construction paper and gold holograph poster board I found at Staples. My clouds were free handed using white stock, and the Happy Birthday banner is located in my shop.

Party Table

Working from the Bottom up my DIY Mario Bros Party table scape was small but effective and SO EASY! anyone could DIY this is a matter of Minutes. I started with a light green tablecloth (Dollar Tree), and two dark green tablecloths to ruffle the edges. I placed a sequins gold table runner that I borrowed from my Doctor Who Party down the center of my table and added yellow star banners. Super simple yet effective.

Table Decorations

My table decor is a fun collection of Mario Bros items that I either borrowed or had on hand. Everything was printable or had a purpose. From the left, I borrowed a question block (which lit up! Awesome!). I was able to purchase some display items last month with my Peter Pan Party, including the steel tiered display. I created a Question block vase which I put my pop of color. I really like how flowers look in a party display. Moving on to my center piece I used my staple wood cut display. and I created a 8-bit cupcake stand from boxes and green construction paper. It turned out so much better then I was expecting.

DIY Favors & Gifts:

Favors:

I decided to keep it simple for favors, I found black mustaches at the Dollar Tree, and cut some of them to look like Mario and Luigi mustaches. Yoshi eggs would also make a fun game or favor. You can find printable favor boxes free at the bottom of the page. 😀

For Mario Bros Baby Showers I recommend my Mario Bros Milestone Stickers to be the perfect gift that keeps on giving. If your planning on taking monthly photos of your little Mario or Peach I recommend these Fandom Stickers to help you show the progress your mini nerd in the making.

Thank you so much for joining me for my Mario Bros Birthday Party. Let me know in the comments if you are planning a Mario Bros Party. Did my ideas help you out? I sure hope so!
